Being that Islam is one of the religions we chose to investigate in the "in-depth" topic category, we need to start some preliminary work on Islam.
Please come by my office to pick up an Islam information packet. If I am not there I will put it in a special "World Religions" assignment spot. This will be the preliminary reading material for our study into Islam.
History of Muhammed and Islam is where we will start.
Before we can get into the study of Islam you need to understand the origins of Islam.
Assignment:
Briefly describe each of the main headings from the reading. In other words, summarize the main ideas associated with each of the following headings. You do not need to write a long description, but you should have a basic, but clear understanding of each.
